Professional Repair & CLA Services

Empress Studio offers expert repair and CLA (Clean, Lubricate, Adjust) services for cameras, lenses, and related photographic equipment. All servicing work is conducted by experienced and qualified technicians, ensuring your gear is handled with the utmost care and precision.


Estimated Service Charges

Prices below include return shipping. Final cost may vary based on model, condition, and parts availability.

Note: Some models may not be serviceable due to unavailable parts. In such cases, repair must be performed by the original manufacturer.


Inspection Charges (Non-repair cases)

If you choose not to proceed with a repair after receiving a quotation, a nominal fee will be charged:

  • RM30 inspection fee

  • RM10 shipping fee (or actual courier cost, whichever is higher)


Warranty on Repairs

All successfully repaired or serviced items are covered under a 30-day limited service warranty from the date of return.


Repair Process: Step-by-Step

  1. Request Repair: Contact us at empressstudio@gmail.com to initiate the repair process.

  2. Ship Your Item: Send the product to our designated service address (provided upon request).

  3. Initial Confirmation: We will notify you via email/WhatsApp upon receiving your item and issue a Repair ID.

  4. Inspection & Quotation: Within 3–7 business days, we will inspect the item and provide you with a repair quotation.

  5. Customer Decision:

    • If you accept: Proceed with payment and repair will commence.

    • If you decline: We will return the item, and the applicable inspection/shipping fee will be charged.


Terms & Conditions

By sending your item for repair, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Fungus Damage: Cleaning fungus may leave permanent marks or coating damage, especially on lenses. Early detection is key.

  • Cleaning Risks: While extreme care is taken, minor marks or signs of service may occur and are sometimes unavoidable.

  • Service Duration: Standard turnaround is 1–2 weeks, depending on service queue and parts availability.

  • Shipping Responsibility:

    • Customers are responsible for safely shipping items to Empress Studio.

    • We recommend using insured courier services (e.g., PosLaju, GD Express).

    • Empress Studio assumes full liability during return shipment to customers using insured courier service.

    • In the unlikely event of damage or loss during return, we will reimburse up to the declared value of the item.
